About Me

A smiling bald man with glasses, wearing a light plaid shirt and dark blue pants, sitting on a beige stool against a plain beige wall.

I grew up in a home of five kids with two parents just trying to make ends meet. Though my parents tried to shelter me from the reality, I saw firsthand how a lack of quality advocacy can set a person back.

At the start of my career, I swung a hammer as a carpenter to put food on the table. Then, I moved into management to learn the business side of things. I know both sides: what it takes to live paycheck to paycheck as well as the burden of ensuring your employees can expect their check without question.

After years of working, I went back to school and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Arizona State University with a BS in Political Science and a BA in History. I followed up with a JD from Arizona State University where I graduated as an Advocacy Fellow and earned the Highest Distinction Pro Bono Award for my advocacy around the state.

Following graduation, I spent four years working for a non-profit aimed at providing free legal services for the underserved persons in the state. In my time there, I handled highly complex matters during and after COVID-19 and streamlined the process to improve access to critical services. I spent an additional year litigating for rural schools across northern Arizona and the Navajo Nation before striking out on my own.

When I’m not at work, you can find me building computers, going to Phoenix Rising games, and holding my breath while my toddler yells “WATCH THIS” from the top of the playset.
